Whether by taxi, bus, or even private car, traveling the roads of Panama offers opportunities for adventure every day. Backpackers and other travelers inclined to skip the tour guides and cost of hiring a driver for the day have the option of traveling by bus to our site and while it increases the actual drive time a little bit, most buses to the Colon area offer air conditioning for the roughly 1 hour drive. - Enter Corredor Norte which turns into the new Panama-Colon Autopista.
- Continue north towards Colon. Turn right at the “Rey” supermarket in Sabanitas to continue towards Portobelo.
- Pass through Maria Chiquita.
- Approximately 5 minutes past Maria Chiquita, turn right at the dirt road with the bus stop.
- Continue for 3km, approximately 10-15 minutes, follow signs to site.
